AMEE 2014 will be my 11th AMEE. Reflecting on the last 10 AMEE meetings (from 2004) that I have attended and presented either a paper or poster; it occurs to me that AMEE has had a profound impact, and significant influence on my development as a professional educationalist, and budding educational scholar. On the eve of AMEE 2014 may I send Ron Harden and the AMEE organising team my very best wishes; and a big, big, heartfelt thank you!
