Description: Near-peer teaching (NPT) programmes provide additional learning opportunities and potential benefits to teachers. NPT increases the pool of tutors available to students for bedside teaching, facilitate practical and small group teaching. This paper reviews the implementation of a NPT programme in south-east Scotland.
