Summary: Students engagement, uptake , tuned-in, and collaboration to be better improved by collecting baseline data. Description: The current move toward patient -centred care needs to be matched with a similar movement from the of university faculties community-the needs of student centred , adaptive and individualized medical education. The challenge of base line information gathering can be overcome by adopting the qualitative research questionnaire tools . Emerging themes of concepts , values and ideas would help in knowing students better as a consumer of medical education.
