Description: This study examines the introduction of electronic devices during PBL tutorials and their impact on group dynamics and student’s perception of their learning. In the second year of a distributed undergraduate medical school program, students and tutors were permitted to bring and utilize an electronic device of their choice in PBL tutorials. An online survey of students and tutors was conducted to assess the impact of this on group dynamics and student learning.
