Description: A pediatric intensive care unit can serve as an excellent Study Support Environment for students in the pre-clinical phase of their medical education. It offers dramatic illustrations of the science students are learning in the classroom setting, complementing their knowledge foundation through observation and interpretation. Few undergraduate medical students rotate in PICU during their preclinical education. This study proposes a teaching model for a five-day rotation in PICU.
