Description: About the role
Our Medical School is expanding and as a result of a teaching colleague’s retirement we are now looking to appoint a lecturer with a background in biomedical science (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, genetics, pharmacology or population/social sciences or related disciplines). You will work within our Phase 1 team and take a lead role on one of our range of units, as well as providing generic support to our course and students more generally.
As a key member of our Phase 1 (years 1-2) teaching team, you will take a lead in another area across our teaching provision, with potential roles (dependent on the profile of the successful candidate) in clinical assessment in Phase 1, quality management, management of student professionalism and in work supporting international partnership provision of our curriculum.
You will draw on your academic excellence to underpin and carry out scholarship, teaching, enterprise, engagement, leadership & citizenship in the field of Medical Education and within Leicester Medical School.
