Description: The Texas A&M College of Medicine is pleased to announce an employment opportunity for an Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education.

The Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education will provide essential clinical oversight of the College of Medicine's graduate medical education (GME) operations to include senior executive oversight of educational quality, operations, and the effective implementation of clinical learning environment improvements. The incumbent will oversee institutional and programmatic accreditation of current programs and lead initiatives to develop new clinical training sites and GME programs within new and established clinical affiliates.

The incumbent will work closely with all constituents of the College of Medicine to ensure that Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation standards are being met, monitored, and evaluated and to ensure compliance for all future site visits. The Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education will also work from the College of Medicine strategic plan to strengthen and grow the College's sponsored and affiliated GME programs.

Additional duties will include teaching residents and medical students on topics related to clinical medicine and/or health systems science and providing clinical and/or other professional services on behalf of the Texas A&M College of Medicine.

Assignment of faculty title Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor.

Required Professional Credentials:
The Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education must possess a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine within the State of Texas or be eligible to receive such licensure and hold a medical degree M.D. or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine D.O.

Required Experience: Experience in graduate medical education and have six (6) years of related senior administrative experience in healthcare and/or medical education as either a program director or designated institutional official (DIO).
