The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) with a concentration in Health Care Education is designed specifically for practicing educators and trainers of health care providers.
This concentration fosters the development of leadership skills used to face current and future issues of social justice, managed care, professionalism, technology, disease prevention, and legal perspectives. Through self-reflection, analysis, and practical application of best practices, these skills are then used to solve real problems in the workplace. The doctoral program with a concentration in health care education focuses on developing health care educators as facilitators, innovators, leaders, consultants, and instructional designers by providing the knowledge and skills needed for the effective delivery of health information and care.
