Summary: The Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME) invites you to join them for their 2021 Annual Meeting which will be presented in a virtual live format.
Description: The world has seen great change in the last year and CPD has seen its share of impact.

The theme for this year’s event Art and Science of CPD: New Technology, New Knowledge, New Learning was chosen before the onset of the pandemic and the historic momentum of the social justice movement. The theme is quite relevant in our new reality. SACME continues to uniquely integrate scholarship and best practices in CPD.

This program acknowledges the state of change and many challenges within which we must now operate. Programming will address strategies for building personal and professional resilience, showcase innovative approaches to the use of technology that fosters growth in CME/CPD programming, and methods to create a culture of belonging and inclusion in our organizations and in our activities. Content will reinforce SACME’s mission to promote the highest value in patient care and health of the public through the scholarship of continuing medical and interprofessional education and feature oral abstract presentations addressing research, best practices and innovations across the continuum of CME/CPD from the wealth of quality abstracts that have been submitted for consideration.

Longitudinal programming will provide opportunities for experiential learning, professional networking, and social engagement in the weeks leading up to the three days of concentrated events in February and in the months following the Annual Meeting.
