Article:

As an administrator of medical education, I have been inspired and supported by AMEE and a core group of clinicians, who have also been deeply influenced by AMEE. With the new concepts of medical education that AMEE brings to me, I am now focusing on medical professionalism education, the development of new approaches to curriculum planning, teaching and learning methods, assessment techniques and educational management for medical students, as well as the faculty development of our hospital. In the near future, I’m going to build a research team for clinical teaching in order to promote research in the field of healthcare professions education. In 2018, I submitted an abstract about our research on medical professionalism education: what pre-clinical medical students learn about professionalism from early involvement in clinical practice of south China. It was accepted as a round table discussion topic. In 2019, I submitted another abstract about our research on medical professionalism education: what pre-clinical students learn about professionalism from observation learning in patient and family advisory councils in China? And it was accepted as a mounted poster topic. AMEE is more than an organization for me; it is also a tutor for guiding me to explore in the field of medical education. Enthusiasm is the key word in my works for AMEE. Like many other enthusiastic people in AMEE, we are not only fellows in healthcare, but also are global player’s constantly moving medical education forward in world

When I graduated in 2008, I got the bachelor’s degree of clinical medicine as a medical student from Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, and started my residency training at Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. After 3 years’ training, I changed my position and started my new career at the Undergraduate Education Section of Education Department in our hospital. I became interested in management of medical education after I came to this department and furthered my study in the field of Public Administration. In 2016, I got my master’s degree of Public Administration from Sun Yat-sen University. It’s my 12th year working in our hospital. As is known to all, the 1st Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University is an important base for research, medical service, medical education, preventive care and rehabilitation in South China, which is well-known for its clinical education and academic achievements. Therefore, I value my working experience here. And it was accepted as a mounted poster topic. I attended AMEE 2019 Conference in Austria of Vienna and presented this topic at poster presentation and a short communication section. I’m now interested in making researches on medical education. I’d like to make some researches with some clinicians on teaching methods, novel technique on medical education as well as other aspects.
