In this webinar, the principles of standard setting will be explored, with worked through examples of the Angoff method. Standard setting for OSCEs will also be demonstrated and discussed.

You will need the following:


  • a 'good'internet connection

  • Headset (or speakers)

  • microphone

  • Webcam (optional)

It is essential that you run the Wimba Set Up Wizard well in advance of the webinar in case there are any technical issues which require attention. Please see link below.


You can take as much of an active role in the webinar session as you wish. You can choose to be seen and heard when asking questions, for this you will require a webcam and a microphone, you can choose to just be heard using a microphone, or if you wish you can just sit back, watch and listen. You can of course still interact with the presenter even if you do not have a webcam or microphone using the text area in which you can type questions and responses.
